Abstract
For the efficient operation of an urban metro network, it is essential for users to understand the path selection. Most urban metro systems cannot accurately identify passenger travel routes. Many existing studies have developed travel route estimation models using smartcard data, but there is a limitation in that smartcard data does not have passenger transfer information, so it is necessary to arbitrarily create an available route set. In this study, a method of estimating the passage path of urban metro users using mobile phone data collected from smartphones was proposed. Mobile phone data has user path information, so a data-driven route choice set can be constructed. To evaluate the performance of the methodology proposed in this study, a comparative analysis was performed with the path selection model built in previous studies. As a result of the analysis, it was confirmed that the path selection model using mobile phone data showed the best performance.
