607-mW, Dy3+-doped ZBLAN fiber laser, core-pumped at 1100 nm

Abstract

An efficient Dy3+-doped ZBLAN fiber laser core-pumped at 1100 nm is experimentally demonstrated with AlF3 no-core fiber end-caps for better heat conduction. The maximum output power and slope efficiency were 607 mW and 25%, respectively.
