N2 - We experimentally demonstrate a femtosecond mode-locked fiber laser incorporating a fiberized saturable absorber based on mechanically-exfoliated, bulk-structured GeS particles. Stable optical pulses with a temporal width of ∼796 fs were readily produced at ∼1556 nm.
