Abstract

Integration of global positioning system (GPS) and inertial navigation system (INS) with photogrammetric system provides geo-spatial data acquisition and updating for geographic information system (GIS). GPS makes kinematic positioning possible with reasonable accuracy. One of GPS applications is moving vehicles monitoring. The focus of this paper is to discuss framework of vehicle monitoring system based on GPS/INS, photogrammetric mapping, and spatial database.
