Abstract

We propose a new collision arbitration algorithm for FMO code in RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) applications. The proposed collision arbitration algorithm uses a property of FMO code to build a binary search tree. The proposed collision arbitration algorithm is found to reduce the average number of transmissions by 30 % compared with the probabilistic collision arbitration algorithm in ISO-18000 Part 6B.
