Abstract

A passively Q-switched, erbium ZBLAN fiber laser based on a V4C3 MXene saturable absorption mirror, is experimentally demonstrated at 2.7 μm. Optical pulses with a 821 μJ energy was achieved at a 2.2-W pump power.
