Abstract

A Grid computing system is a distributed parallel resource of computers that have the various characteristics. Many researchers propose scheduling algorithms for Grid computing systems. However, the previous scheduling algorithm is assigned to a task which should choose only the execution time or the completion time. So it has many problems. In this paper, proposed immediate mode scheduling algorithm assigns a task to the machine which can use the execution time and the completion time at the same time. As a result, we show the performance of scheduling algorithm in Grid system.
