Abstract

The properties of polyelectrolyte solutions with divalent counterions using Brownian dynamics (BD) simulations were studied. The entire range of concentration regimes from dilute to concentrated and wide range of electrostatic interaction strengths were investigated. The polyions were modeled as flexible charged chains, and the counterions were incorporated explicitly.
