Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate a stimulated Brillouin scattering free, all fiber phase conjugator using 1-m length of our fabricated Bismuth oxide-based nonlinear fiber. Using the conjugator, error-free, dispersion compensated transmission of a 10-Gbit/s NRZ signal over a 150 km SMF transmission link is readily achieved.
