Abstract

Erythrobacter sp. strain SDW2, which is capable of biosynthesizing a yellow xanthophyll pigment, was isolated from coastal seawater. Here, we report the complete genome sequence of this marine bacterial strain, with a genome size of 2,920,893 bp (64.38% G1C content) and 2,859 genes.
