Abstract

Recently, along with the remarkable development of the Internet, the scale of IoT has rapidly increased. In this paper, to build IoT platforms based on Web applications, we propose a new protocol DDMQ that can create a network effectively for both Web and things. The proposed DDMQ combines conventional two protocols MQTT and DDP, and it can specify semantically rich yet lightweight messages so as to be used on any embedded system.
