Direction of ITS data management center in national highway

Abstract

Although each national highway ITS facility is operated and managed by centers, traffic information should be operated in integrated management system. Accordingly the traffic information being collected by each local center needs to be analyzed regularly, corrected, verified and then quality assessment should be carried out thereon. In this study is intended to suggest the function and role between local ITS center and national highway ITS data management center to optimize the traffic information management, investigate the constructed example in overseas, and thereby suggest the direction of national highway ITS Data Management Center in our nation.
