Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate nanosecond pulsewidth-tunable mode-locking of a fiber laser incorporating a bulk-structured Bi2Te3 topological insulator (TI). It is shown that pulse width-tunable mode-locked pulses are readily obtainable with increasing a pump power from an erbium fiber ring cavity.
