Abstract

An efficient frequency-offset estimation scheme for the OFDM-based WLAN is presented. The approach efficiently utilises the IEEE 802.11a WLAN standard preamble with the aid of time synchronisation. Simulation results indicate that the algorithm can render the performance to be optimal with the partial data of the preamble.
