Entanglement induced by a single-mode heat environment

Entanglement of two atoms through their interaction with a highly chaotic thermal field was demonstrated. A quantum register composed of two-level atoms interacting with a single-mode thermal field was considered. The study provided a degree of analytical understanding of the decoherence mechanism for a quantum system composed of a few qubits.
