Abstract
This paper is about the Healthy City project in Seoul. The article starts with a general explanation of the history, concepts and implementation of Healthy City projects. Then it describes the details of the Healthy City project in Seoul and examines the project in the light of the guidelines of WHO as it has been articulated in the health promotion literature and the policy documents.
