Abstract

In this paper, we review our recent research activities on the investigation of the feasibility of using the optical fiber-based nonlinear signal processing technologies for all-optical UWB radio signal processing. It is shown that the optical fiber-based nonlinear signal processing technology can be also applied to IR-UWB-based fiber/wireless-transmission systems.
