abstract = "We numerically investigated an optimum leading-edge profile of the Q-switching window for multipeak suppression in actively Q-switched Yb-doped fiber lasers. Through comparison among four different profiles, our proposed, sinusoidal function profile (increasing slope) is shown to provide the complete multipeak suppression without loss of pulse-energy.",
