Abstract

This paper introduces real time monitoring and control scheme based on Mobile Internet & GPS (Global Positioning Satellite) on GIS (Geographical Information System) for workload balance of postmen and customers' request meet in parcel pick-up & delivery. We describe real time tracing & tracking scheme, database schema, system architecture, and user interface view of real time real time monitoring and control scheme for workload balance of postmen and customers' request meet in parcel pick-up & delivery service. There are some implementation considerations about how real time monitoring and control system for workload balance of postmen and customers' request meet in parcel pick-up & delivery service can adopt using CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) & GPS on GIS in this paper. The contribution of this paper is to stimulate deployment of integrating GIS, GPS, and CDMA technologies for logistics service and SCM (supply chain management).
