Theoretical Study into Splicing Mismatch in a Large Mode Area Double Clad Fiber for High Power Laser

Research output: Contribution to conferencePaperpeer-review

Abstract

We investigated the impact of axial offset in the fiber core misalignment on the output beam quality of large mode area double-clad fiber. We assessed beam quality with the beam propagation method and M2 factor for DCFs with core and inner cladding diameters of 25/395 μm.
