Abstract
With the localization of S-100 standards-based marine geographic information system (GIS) software, it is necessary to develop user-friendly software suitable for various types of user expansion. In this study, the usability of S-100-based marine GIS localized software was demonstraed with the use of the marine GIS software under development using eye-tracking equipment. In this study, area-of-interest (AOI) analysis was performed for each user by setting a scenario for the use of the marine GIS software after selecting a manufacturer based on proficiency and making a wear eye-tracking sensor. Analyzing AOI enabled an evaluation of the usability of the main user interface of the marine GIS software.
